Pearlands own - Killens Steakhouse receives top rating from national travel magazine


Killens Steakhouse of Pearland was recently recognized as one of the best steakhouses in the United States by Travel & Leisure magazine.

According to a Pearland Economic Development Corporation press release, the restaurant was listed as one of 20 steakhouses across the country considered to be a cut above the rest.

The designation came in the March 2013 issue of the periodical and described Killens as casual, elegant and serving the best beef inside and outside the beltway. It also received mention for its signature dessert, the Creme Brulee bread pudding, made with custard-soaked croissants and topped with a brandy-brown sugar syrup, according to the magazine's website. .

Killens Steakhouse is at 2804 S. Main St., Pearland.
